The 2010-2011 Jeep Wrangler is still going to be called in for a recall for a different matter, one that’s equally serious.

Various models of the Jeep Wrangler could have a drivetrain problem if built between 2010 and 2011 and as a result, they’re going to soon be called in.

The number of cars that are going to be recalled includes 20.459 units of the Jeep Wrangler.

The problem is improperly torqued front and rear axle fasteners. The NHTSA came forward with a detailed analysis of how it may manifest.

If one of these 2010-2011 Jeep Wrangler’s fasteners were failing there would be a lot of noise in the passenger compartment and a slack in the steering.

The worst case scenario would see drivers lose steering control and potentially have an accident.

This recall affects 2010-2011 Jeep Wrangler which were built between July 12 and September 10, 2010 so if you’re the owner of such a car you will soon be receiving a letter from your dealer.
