BMW decided to shed some light on the freshly revealed X4 M40i and release official pricing information for the German buyers.
In the home market, the new model will begin at €65,000 and will feature a 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit producing 360 horses and 465 Nm of torque. With this kind of power, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in just 4,9 seconds with a top speed limited at 250 km/h. However, the BMW X4 M40i got more than a revised engine and refreshed appearance.
It has now an improved xDrive all-wheel drive system, a tweaked sports suspension and other minor additions. The overall look is also enhanced thanks to new bumpers and large 20-inch M alloy wheels.
With this been said, it is up to you to consider if this high-performance model is worth 65,000. If not, you can also go with the more standard BMW X4 variants that may not be so powerful but they are certainly nice to drive.
