How much are we actually talking about? Well, the rare 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM Berlinetta Competizione was sold for no less than 9.850.000 EUR. While the name of the new owner was not disclosed, information points toward an UK buyer who also is the proud owner of a Ferrari 250 GTO.

The 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM Berlinetta Competizione uses a 4.5 liter V12 engine that is capable of producing 340 Hp. The rare Ferrari was designed by Pininfarina and this particular unit is the only one that was driven by Alberto Ascari, Dr. Nino Farina and Mike Hawthorn and still survives to reach an auction house.

Besides the Ferrari 340/375 MM Berlinetta Competizione, RM Auctions also sold a Ferrari 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and the 599XX. And while the 10 million EUR Ferrari is quite expensive, these kind of sums are not that rare in these auctions environments.
