First Details About Sierra HD By GMC
The first details about this so called Sierra HD were released by GMC and the first things I’m about to tell you are that the car comes equipped with a V8 diesel engine at 6.6 liter capacity. Maybe you didn’t know but the Americans are using diesel for their cars, and they are pretty famous for their V8 engines and those huge cylinders.
This new GMC Sierra HD combines all of those mentioned above, using a mechanical taken from Chevrolet Silverado, that V8 engine with those 6.6 liters capacity, supercharged, manages to develop 397 horsepower and a torque of 1037 Nm at 1600 rpm. From the consumption point of view GMC said that with a full tank you will be able to run 1080 km on the highway.

Ford will present the new Police Interceptor in a private event in Las Vegas tonight. This car wasn’t made just to be admired in the spotlights, starting from the series Taurus model they managed to create this version for the police specially to replace the actual Crown Victoria models, which by the way will be taken out in September next year.

Geneva 2010 Will Host Mercedes S63 AMG
Mercedes S63 AMG is available now with a new motorization and the best thing about this is that the engine is more economical. This Mercedes S63 AMG will be seen at Geneva Auto Show 2010 with the new M157, which that actually is that twin-turbo V8 engine having 5.5 liter capacity. That will replace the old V8 engine at 6.2 liter capacity.
This new engine announces to be more powerful being able to develop 544 horsepower in the standard version or 570 horsepower after some modifications. The torque also has an impressive value being at 900 Nm and is available between 2.100 rpm and 4.600 rpm. With all of these, the V8 is with 25% more economic.
Hybrid Concept Called Proton At Geneva 2010
The small constructor Proton has some pretty big ambitions and it will present at Geneva Auto Show 2010, in partnership with italdesign, a new city car with hybrid propulsion which by the way should enter in series production a few years later. This new Proton Hybrid is a pretty small car, measuring only 3.5 meters length and with a wheelbase at 2.6 meters. It provides space for four persons and the trunk has 320 liters capacity.
The hybrid propulsion system is similar with the solution offered by Chevrolet Volt, having the heat engine of 1.2 liter capacity and developing 51 horsepower placed under the front hood, when the electric engine at 45 kW and the lithium-ion batteries are placed in the back.
Bentley Mulsanne: Official Details And Photos
Bentley recently released details about a new model, I’m talking about the Bentley Mulsanne and this car doesn’t even need presentation, is a Bentley and for most people’s that should be enough. Maybe at first sight you might think that this is just an Arnage with a strong facelift but the officials have specially taken care of this and said that the new Mulsanne is a replacer of the model mentioned above.
Even more they said that not even one piece remained unchanged. This new Bentley Mulsanne was inspired directly from the 8 liter models, from the time when Bentley were considered the most luxurious cars in the world. The dimensions of this care are at least impressive, measuring 5.562 mm length, with a width at 1.926 mm and with 1.526 mm height, let’s not forget to mention that Mulsanne is equipped with 20 inch wheels.
New Concept Called Seat IBe Coupe
Seat has something new to bring at Geneva Auto Show 2010, I’m talking about the concept car called Seat IBe which they say that this is be the first preface of the electric future of the brand and I hope they start with the right foot. This Seat IBe is basically a coupe with 2 + 2 seats which shows us the future in a compact model.
Having in mind the Ibiza range I think you will agree with me when I’m saying that the only thing missing was an electric model and that “IBe” from the name gives us a hint about the electric equipment on the car. The dimensions of this Seat IBe Coupe are smaller compared with a series Ibiza, measuring 3.78 meters length.
Gazal 1 Concept Presented At Geneva Auto Show 2010
It is known that Arabs are big amateurs of Hummers, and thanks to that they decided to build their own SUV. A group of students from the King Saud University worked at a project and like this our subject was born, I’m talking about the so called Gazal 1.
If this project is not perfect like it should be don’t start to judge because Gazal 1 was in fact a school project, which one of the teachers from King Saud University gave to them at the engineering class, so don’t be harsh. The students took over the task and developed Gazal Concept 1 starting from a Mercedes G Class platform.
