Mitsubishi to close Ralliart Division

The Japanese from Mitsubishi have announced that they will close the Ralliart division this month. Ralliart models are still available, but Japanese engineers will not develop any new models and components.

Performance division Ralliart of the Japanese from Mitsubishi will be closed due to lack of funds. It seems that this division is the victim of the increasingly lower involvement of the Japanese in motorsport and the extremely low sales that they have encountered. Also, the multitude of aftermarket parts available for Mitsubishi models that had a Ralliart version reduced the customers interest for these models.

Audi Q7 modified by ABT for the Scottish Police

Glasgow police will use for intervention an Audi Q7 with ABT kit capable to develop 278 horsepower, seized following a confrontation with a neighborhood gang. Glasgow Police Department boasts recently with an Audi Q7, which will serve the police in the future. The SUV from Ingolstadt went into law enforcement equipment after a confrontation with a local band, the vehicle was seized and then turned in an intervention car.

The model that recently came to the police fleet isn’t a simple one, the SUV benefiting from an ABT kit, which comes with an aerodynamic kit, with larger bosses and four exhaust pipes “stucked” well in the rear deflector. The impressive outfit is completed by a set of 20-inch wheels with chromed aspect.

Mercedes thought a special version for the E-Klasse Cabrio, named Prime Edition. The limited edition comes with a range of aesthetic and technical improvements. Mercedes continues the series of premieres started in Geneva with a special edition of the E-Klasse Cabrio. The first limited interpretation to the German convertible is called “Prime Edition” and comes with a number of aesthetic enhancements, designed to make the E-Klasse Cabrio a more attractive car.

At the exterior, Prime Edition is individualized by the body painted in “Tenorite Grey” color, matching perfectly with the 18-inch wheels, with AMG origins.

Bugatti has unveiled in a private event held in Geneva a new unit of Galibier 16C, the four-seat brother of the current Bugatti Veyron. Bugatti exhibited in Geneva two special versions of the Veyron Grand Sport model, but kept the best model, the Bugatti Galibier 16C, for a private event, held near the salon, but far from the curious eyes of the public.

Volkswagen subsidiary unveiled a new version of the Galibier 16C model, the 4 seats brother of the more popular Bugatti Veyron. The event revealed a Galibier painted black, more sober than the original one, bicolor.

Although the new Duster has not started yet on the market in Europe, those from Dacia will offer a special edition of their model on the German market.

Dacia will launch a special edition of Duster, called Duster Edition FC St. Pauli in the German market. The launch of this special edition is even more unusual if we consider the fact that the model didn’t started yet in the European market. Duster’s special edition was named after a soccer team in the second league in Germany, FC St. Pauli.

Tuners from Edo Competition have developed a performance kit for the Aston Martin DBS. This performance kit helps the model to reach 550 horsepower.

German tuners from Edo Competition presented their vision of the Aston Martin DBS. The British model was subjected to mechanical and aesthetic transformations, thus, earning extra sportiness and aggression. The 5.9-liter V12 engine now is delivering 550 horsepower, with 33 horsepower more than the series version and develops a torque of 600 Nm .

Hyundai will develop a production model based on the I-Flow concept. It could take many technological elements that aim to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Koreans from Hyundai have said that they will develop a production version of the I-Flow concept presented at the Geneva Motor Show. While this concept prefigures the design that will be worn by the future models from Hyundai, it will give birth to a completely new model in South Korean manufacturer’s range.

Carlsson tuning house presented at Geneva Motor Show their first model developed as a car manufacturer. It was named C25 and will be created in 25 units.

Carlsson tuning house unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show their first model built as a car manufacturer. The German’s car is based on the Mercedes SL600 model and was named C25. The engine that the Carlsson engineers have chosen is a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo that delivers 753 horsepower and develops 1150 Nm of torque.

After Dacia Duster entered Guinness Book because of the low price, Dacia Duster shows in the videos below its off-roader capabilities. Dacia Duster has a length of 4.31 meters and 1.82 meters wide. According the manufacturer, Dacia Duster model is equipped with engines with low fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions.

Diesel versions of Dacia Duster emit under 140 g CO2/km in the 4×2 version – such receiving the Dacia eco² signature – and under 150 g CO 2/km in the 4×4 version. The model is available in 4×2 and 4×4 versions, with a petrol engine – 1.6 16v 110 hp, and two diesels – 1.5 dCi 85 hp and 1.5 dCi 105 hp, already on many vehicles in the Renault range.
