Cadillac CTS-V, now available in Black Diamond Edition

The Americans at Cadillac came up with quite an interesting package to offer along with any CTS-V they sell. Sadly, they took some inspiration in naming it (rather poorly) relatively similar to what Porsche call their latest version of the Boxster.

The package is called Black Diamond Edition and while that’s not exactly a marketing revolution, the actual product is quite interesting.

The thing is, even though Porsche offers quite a substantial bit of kit included in the price, Cadillac simply charges you a lot more ($4.850) for some simple things.

These things are pretty unimpressive as one is a new color, one is the new set of wheels and a new color with the brake calipers.

Not much is going on inside either as all you get in there is a couple of microfiber suede Recaro seats and Midnight Sapele wood accents all around.

The most important bit of all that us the SpectraFlair paint, a color shade that belongs to GM and just isn’t done justice unless it’s seen in real life.

It’s that special you can’t properly describe it or see it in pictures.

GM is offering this finish on all versions of the Cadillac CTS-V regardless of body shape and transmission.

In getting this car, practically it doesn’t really make much sense but then again, neither does buying an expensive suit.

Yet sometimes this thing can make a serious image improvement to your look, the same applies to the Cadillac CTS-V Black Diamond Edition.
