Vauxhall decided to reveal new details on the VXR8 GTS, a model which will be seen in world premiere at the upcoming Autosport International.
As its name suggests, we talk about a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 576 horsepower and 738 Nm of torque, an important boost over the previous model.
Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h will take only 4,2 seconds while the top speed is limited at 250 km/h. Under the sheet metal we find a special Brake-Torque Vectoring system, an improved Magnetic Ride Control system and a revised suspension system.
“The Performance Car Show and Autosport International is an ideal location for us to take the wraps off the UK’s first new VXR8 GTS,” says Vauxhall.
In terms of pricing, Vauxhall will price the new VXR8 GTS from £54,999 in the UK with the first models to be delivered in the first months of 2014.
