Aston Martin British manufacturing is on a full swing with the latest product to be launched on the market, the all-new DB11, which is considered one of the most successful from the brand and one of the best sports cars ever built.
Recently, Autocar magazine released on the web a project video with the Aston Martin Vulcan going full throttle around the Silverstone track, the model showing-off its exquisite road qualities and sheer power, and now, the same publication is showing us the real face of the DB11.
We won`t spoil all the fun and will let you enjoy the video, but we won`t go away until praising the model a little bit and giving out some of its extraordinary capabilities and dynamics.
First of all, the Aston Martin DB11 is now using a completely new and extremely advanced aluminum architecture, made in collaboration with Daimler, which allows the fitting of efficient turbocharged engines.
Performance wise, the model comes with a brand-new 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbocharged engine, which develops a staggering 600 horsepower and massvie 700 Nm of torque, being sent to the front axle via a high-performance eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The sprint is done in 3.9 seconds, at a topping of 320 km/h.
As opposed to the previous generations, this lad here is also packing some new tweaks inside, the cabin delighting us with two state-of-the-art TFT displays, along with a massive 12-inch display for the instrument cluster and an 8-inch screen for the infotainment system, both controlled via a touchpad on the center console. Additionally, the interior is adorned with the latest high-end materials.
