The French people at Peugeot officially announced that a fully electric version of the Partner utility vehicle will go on sale starting next year.
The eco-friendly Peugeot Partner packs an electric motor producing 67hp and 200Nm of torque. You can opt for a smaller variant which measures 4,38 meters and comes with a load capacity of 3,3 cubic meters.
The longer 4,63 meters version has a load volume of 3,7 cubic meters with a payload of 685 kilograms.
Peugeot estimates a driving range of 170 kilometers per charge with a charging time of 6 to 9 hours (normal mode) or half an hour for 80% (fast mode).
“The new Partner Electric offers responsible mobility and unequalled ease of driving, without making any compromises in the strengths that constitute the success of the Partner,” adds Peugeot.
The French car maker says that the constant single speed gear reduction unit comes quite handy and you don’t need to change the gears anymore.
