Few days ago, Ford introduced us to the S-MAX Concept, a prototype designed to get us a closer look at the upcoming S-MAX model.
Today, we get even a closer look at the American model thanks to the official promo videos released by Ford.
In these films, the Executive Design Director, Martin Smith explains the design philosophy behind the new concept.
Even so, the S-MAX Concept is by no means a futuristic prototype but rather builds on the current model.
The exterior features a new front grille, LED lights, multi-spoke alloy wheels, revised bumpers and new spoilers. Power is offered by a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine producing 178 horsepower and 240Nm of torque.
Interior highlights include leather trim for the instrument panel, new seats and dashboard. The new Ford S-MAX Concept is scheduled to premiere at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
