Kia Sorento GT-Line Package Breaks Cover in Australia

The all-new Kia Sorento was recently unveiled in Australia, with the model to receive a special edition, called the GT-Line Package, which adds more interesting features as opposed to the standard version.

The idea of launching a high-line version of the Sorento is part of the South Korean based carmaker`s planning of boosting its sale on the hot continent and increase its dividends for 2017, after it managed just 2795 model to sell throughout the year so far.

The pricing tags with the Kia Sorento GT-Line Package will be announced this autumn when the high-end version will arrive in dealerships countrywide.

In the engine department, the Sorento GT-Line is equipped with an SLi 3.3-liter V6 petrol burner and a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel Platinum engine, and that in Europe, while the Australian market will get only the diesel Platinum for the moment. If the version is successful, the carmaker will also introduce the petrol.

The cabin of the high-end version is wearing exquisite features like red leather upholstery, paddle shifters, chrome trimmings, all adding a more luxurious and a sporty feel.

Visually, the Kia Sorento GT-Line Package comes with the same body styling but with improved design lines, highlighted by the cube-style LED fog lights, new bumper bars, stainless steel side steps, satin silver trimmings as well as the 19-inch alloy wheels.

The model also gets some improved mechanics, such as Brembo brakes, H&R sports suspension system, new lowering springs and a few more.

Kia will announce the full details with the Sorento GT-Line next month, when it reaches Australian market, with the pricing tags as well, including road expenses.
