The German folks at Mercedes announced official pricing information on the SLS AMG Black Series, a model which is scheduled to hit the showrooms this summer, namely in June.
In terms of performance, power is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable to deliver 622 horsepower and 634Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3,5 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h.
The V8 powerplant received new camshafts, bucket tappets and other tweaks in order to get better performance figures. A retuned seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission sends the power to wheels.
At the exterior, the SLS AMG Black Series comes with new side skirts, rear diffuser, front and rear bumpers and fenders.
A new set of 20-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires is also available alongside a carbon fiber rear wing. Other features include a locking rear differential, lightweight components and carbon ceramic brakes.
