Volkswagen revealed the technical information and a complete photo gallery of the new generation Sharan. Unlike the previous generation, the platform is fully developed by Volkswagen and the design is subtle taken from other models in the range.
Germans from Volkswagen unveiled the complete gallery and technical details of the new generation Sharan. The new Sharan is 22 inches longer and 30 kg lighter than the previous generation. Moreover, those of the Volkswagen announced that the new Sharan is the most economical MPV in the world with a consumption of 5.5 percent for the 2.0 liter TDI capable to develop up to 140 hp.
The length of this model is 4.85 meters and the monocab in Wolfsburg offers up to seven seats and load space between 885 and 2430 liters (both values are valid for the version with five seats). VW Sharan is in the third generation and the first two generation of this model totaled 607,700 units sold.
