The 35 year of history of the Polo model translated today, at the VW plant in India, in 11,111,111 produced units. Volkswagen announced today that their factory in India has taken off from the production belt, the Polo with 11,111,111 number, produced in the history of 35 years of the small segment of the German model. The event took place in the Volkswagen plant in Pune, at this event taking part Horst Kohler, President of Germany, and Jochem Heizmann, Member of the Board of VW Group.
Celebrated Polo unit comes into market from just two months when the new generation of Polo won the Car of the Year award. The first generation Polo was produced by Volkswagen in 1975, the German model become since the, one of the symbols of the European B segment.

Tata Nano, Car of the Year in India
The model launched by Tata this year on the Indian market has managed to win Car of the Year award in India. The fifth edition of Car of the Year competition held in India has brought a winner expected by everyone: Tata Nano. Model launched in India this year has managed to impress the jury with both practicality personality that give evidence, and especially by the unbeatable quality/price.
From jury made of automotive journalists that have given this award were part 11 members of the specialized media, the list including members of the editorials like CAR India, Top Gear India, Auto Bild India, Overdrive India and Business Standard Motoring.

Skoda Superb Combi enters production
Skoda Superb Combi model went into production, being built at the Czech car manufacturer plant in Kvasiny. The first copy of the series was exhibited at the plant. We are talking about the Elegance model with a 2.0 TDI CR DPF engine, automatic transmission and metallic gray colored satin.
The vehicle has a length of 4838 mm, a width of 1817 mm and a height of 1510 mm. Luggage compartment volume is 633 liters, 1865 liters with rear seats folded down. New Skoda Superb is enjoying great popularity among customers, according to information provided by Skoda.

Maserati Quattroporte GT S
This wonderful Maserati Quattroporte GT S will make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show which will take place in only a few days.
The car will have some tough competition from Mercedes and BMW and there will be a lot of interesting vehicles which are scheduled to debut in Detroit. Even so, the 4.7 liter V8 engine and the 432 horse power of the Maserati Quattroporte GT S are sure to attract many fans. The car will be launched with a backstory. The first of its kind won Indianapolis 70 years ago.
