Seat pulled the wraps off a plug-in hybrid prototype based on the new Leon hatchback. Called Leon Verde, the Spanish model comes with a 1.4-liter gasoline unit producing 120 horses and an electric motor offering another 100 horsepower.

It packs an 8.8 kWh battery providing an electric driving range of 50 kilometers while power is transferred to the wheels via a retuned six-speed gearbox.
