Even though the Lamborghini Aventador has been unveiled just a couple of weeks ago, somebody thinks it’s not the right sort of car for the job. That somebody is a IAAD student called Salvatore Simonetti and he reckons the Lamborghini Murcielago should have been given another chance at life.
It’s not like BMW has all the fans with design capabilities good enough to make a Z5. The Bavarian’s rivals are sitting on quite the fan base. Perhaps the most notable one of them all will be Mercedes. Mercedes has quite the reputation for luxury cruising and sometimes for important image statements.
Being from a country once occupied by the ottoman empire, it’s easy to spot when something has some sort of Turkish influence. In the case of the BMW Z5 Design Study, while there are some cues, those influences aren’t there.
Now, seriously, I’m a big sucker for Alfa Romeo. I love the Italian brand’s history, its willingness not to follow the herd and its image. To me, Alfa Romeos are the sort of things that makes me dream at night and hang posters during the day.
This new Porsche design study/concept/styling exercise thing doesn’t really seem to be featuring any of the German company’s trademarks and that’s because it’s not done by Porsche. What this actually is, is another brainchild of designer Nouphone J. Bansasine who you may remember from the latest article on the Volvo SC90 4-door coupe.
