New Generation Ford Focus ST scheduled for Paris Auto Show
Some official sources inside the Ford company announced that the French Auto Show from Paris will host the debut of the new generation of Ford Focus ST. A 2.0-liter engine will be available for the sports version Focus ST, an engine that is rumored that will be able to develop up to 250 horsepower.
Direct injection will be available for the new generation of Focust ST but also the Ecoboost technology. Thus, the new Ford Focust ST will have a consumption of 6.7 liters for 100 km.

Ford Motor Company chops off $4 billion worth of debt
Recently Ford has had some issues with their stock pricing due to investor concern about slow sales within the automotive industry and uncertainty over how the company will pay the UAW’s health care trust fund.
The news that came from Dearborn today will most likely calm spirits and even make some brokers jump for joy as Ford will be repaying 4 billion dollars ahead of schedule therefore seriously reducing it’s debt.

Chrysler may be preppin’ a “dadsy” minivan?
It would appear so, drawing inspiration from Toyota’s Sienna SE or perhaps Europe’s Vauxhall Zafira VXR, Mercedes R63 AMG and even the hot Ford S-Max.
Inspiration or no inspiration, Dodge is reportedly tinkering around with a new variant of the Grand Caravan which should wear the R/T badge.

T-Bird reaches age of 55 with quite a bit of fuss
Ford’s headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, has seen a bit of an assault today, the parking lot was overwhelmed by Ford Thunderbirds and their owners.
Why all the hype from owners? Well it’s no outrage or anything of sorts, it’s something way better, The T-Bird owners have gathered to celebrate the 55 years that have gone by since the first generation of their beloved vehicle has rolled off the production line.

5 special edition Ford Focus RS
The already tasty Ford Focus RS just got a bit of extra spice added to the recipe as Ford of France has just released five 5 special edition Focus RS Le Mans editions.
These variants of the Ford Focus RS are called Le Mans edition because they pay tribute to the Blue Oval’s heritage at the infamous endurance race.

Cadillac offering free maintenance
With Ford’s premium brand, Lincoln have announced just a few days ago that they will be offering free maintenance on their vehicles, GM couldn’t sit around and wait.

Ford’s plans for hybrids and EVs
According to a recent statement by spokesmen from Ford Motor Company we could be expecting that by 2020 up to 25% of the company’s global sales to be hybrids, plug-in hybrids, electric vehicles, or any combination of these technologies.
Nancy Gioia, Ford’s director of global electrification is the author of this statement but he also mentioned that the figure could be as low as 10% however since the technology is rapidly changing and demand is uncertain and unpredictable.

The 2 liter EcoBoost engine available on Ford Mondeo
Ford’s global EcoBoost petrol engine technology is now available with a two liter engine that will find housing in the new Ford Mondeo and will be developing 203 horsepower at 5,500 rpm.
The exact same engine variant will be available on the new incarnations of the S-Max and the Galaxy.

Chrysler will be investing $300 million in Indiana
Chrysler Group LLC have just announced that they are going to invest $300 million in order to retool two of its Indiana plants.
The two plants are Indiana Transmission Plant I and the Kokomo casting plant and together produce automatic transmissions.
