RGT-8 kit for Porsche 911 by RUF
Germans from RUF, specialized in Porsche models change, have made a V8 conversion for the Porsche 911. It offers 550 hp and 500 Nm and goes into production in early 2011.
German tuners from RUF have created a V8 conversion for the Porsche 911, they called it RGT-8. It is based on 997 generation of the Porsche 911 and is equipped with a V8 engine developed in-house by those from RUF. The engine have the V at an angle of 180 degrees and benefits of four valves per cylinder, the combustion chamber having a spherical profile. The engine have a capacity of 4.5 liters and develops 550 hp and 500 Nm.

Yes, another post talking about a very fast and powerful dream car and as you can see in the title, we talk about the new 2011 Porsche 911 Convertible. I mean what would be greater than a fast and powerful car? Of course, a fast and powerful convertible car like this one.
Anyway, I think that the place where they tested this 2011 Porsche 911 Convertible is a bit inappropriate for that weather or road, it would fit much perfectly in a city like Miami or somewhere where the weather is very hot and you would like to cool a little bit in a fast and powerful car like this 2011 Porsche 911 Convertible. Porsche 911 Turbo by Techart at Geneva
TechArt has unveiled few pictures of their package for Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S, which will be presented at the Motor Show in Geneva.
Tuners from TechArt will present the package of changes for Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S at the Geneva Motor Show. The changes start with two aerodynamic packages, which both have the ability to increase the press force and improve the air tightness around the two versions of the 911 Turbo. The couple of packages are called Aerokit I and Aerokit II.

Details About Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid
We have here the popular Porsche 911 in a hybrid version which will be presented at Geneva Auto Show 2010. Just think about it, Porsche is from now on friend with the nature providing a 911 coupe hybrid version. That version is not ready yet, for now we have present at Geneva Auto Show 2010 a hybrid version of the racing car Porsche 911 GT3 R.
Beside that monster engine with the capacity of 4.0 liter which develops 480 horsepower they added two electric engines which move the front deck. The electric engines of the Porsche 911 GT3 R cannot be used permanently, but for maximum 8 seconds. The drive can power on the engines with a push of the button, those provide an extra 120 kW (160 horsepower) to the front wheels.
Porsche to develop a hybrid competition version of 911 GT3-RSR
Porsche engineers may develop a competition version of the 911 GT3-RSR equipped with a hybrid powertrain. This will start in the 24 hours race at Nurburgring.
Germans from Porsche will compete in the 24 hours race at Nurburgring this year with a hybrid version of Porsche 911 GT3-RSR. The model will use a hybrid propulsion system that will work in the style of the KERS system from Formula 1. Hybrid version of Porsche 911 GT3-RSR will keep the engine fueled with gasoline and will be equipped with an electric motor powered by a set of batteries. Most likely, the model will focus on capturing kinetic energy lost in braking and this will provide more power at the exit of corners.

PRIOR Porsche 911 GT3 PD3 with new aerodynamics package
PRIOR Designs launched new aerodynamics package, which means that they will take good cars like Porsche and make them better. PRIOR Porsche 911 GT3 PD3 comes equipped with a front carbon spoiler blade and inlets that allows the Porsche 911 to “cut” the wind much better. In back PRIOR Porsche 911 GT3 PD3 comes equipped with two integrated carbon fins.
For the PRIOR’s Porsche 911 GT3 PD3 parts they used a newly developed carbon-flex fiber glass composite which is very light and saves weight. PRIOR Porsche 911 GT3 PD3 also comes equipped with a new suspension that reduces the car’s height with 30mm, also has multi-section forged wheels and custom stainless exhaust system. The price is not known yet.

Fastest Porsche 911 Turbo by 9ff
The fastest Porsche 911 Turbo in the world is done by the Germans at 9ff. The TR-1000 model develops 1000 hp and 1040 Nm and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds while the top speed that it can achieve is 391.7 km/h.
German tuners from 9ff, specialized in Porsche models modifications, have developed the model TR-1000, which they tested the Papenburg circuit. The model reached a speed of 391.7 km/h during tests and develops 1000 hp and 1040 Nm. The Germans were skimpy on the details of this model, but six-cylinder boxer engine is still used to supply the high power. Of course, all the other elements were replaced with more efficient, single element kept standard being the engine block.

Wimmer has developed a package of substantial mechanical changes for Porsche 911 GT2. German model develop 827 horsepower and a top speed of 378 km/h. Tuning salon in Essen this year will add the maddest creations in terms of tuning.
