Lotus trying to power the Exige by a V6
According to a hand of spy-photographers Lotus is working on upgraded versions of the Elise and Exige sports cars and judging by the exhaust note, these upgraded versions may have V6 engines.
The spies say that the sound of the engine in these under works Lotus cars bares a close resemblance to the sound made by the British company’s latest creation, the Evora.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing announced
Chrysler’s Jeep division has just announced pricing for the all-new 2011 Grand Cherokee and they will be starting at a manufacturer’s retail price of $32,995 including destination.
The new Grand Cherokee will hit Jeep showrooms by the beginning of next month.

Infiniti G series is going to be powered by Mercedes-Benz engine
Since the recent global alliance between Daimler AG and Renault-Nissan has been solidified it’s about time to see the results and first of its kind will be that the next Infiniti G series will get engines from Mercedes-Benz.
The G series has always been a top seller for Infiniti and the future modifications to its engine line will include the addition of a Mercedes inline-four engine purposed in improving the fuel economy and the emission figures.
What’s curious about his new engine is that Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault SA and Nissan Motor Company didn’t actually mention whether this engine will be an option all to its own or if it will replace the current japans offerings, as the current G series sedan and coupe are powered by either a V6 engine or a Japanese make inline-four engine.
2011 Audi Q7 gets new engines and gearboxes
Since it’s been a few months since Audi’s SUV facelift was launched in the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show it’s about time they did something to concern the engines. So here they are, three new V6 engines and an eight speed Tiptronic transmission.
Two of the new engines are petrol powered and the latter is a diesel and the feature various combinations of direct fuel injection and forced induction and all come teamed with high performance regenerative braking systems.
