In January Volkswagen presented to the world (via NAIAS) their new concept SUV called Crossblue. The Crossblue prototype showcased in the Detroit motor show is based on the company’s monocoque MQB platform, a platform similar to the second generation Tiguan due 2014. Volkswagen’s Crossblue was displayed with a state of the art diesel-electric hybrid engine.
