Prior Design aftermarket shop is well-known for its exquisite tuning programs carried out on the most exotic cars and SUVs. Their latest project involves a wide body treatment on this gorgeous Porsche Macan, which provides a fresh yet more aggressive look.
We are dealing here with a custom aero kit, with most of its components being built from Fiberglass-Duraflex, which in the tuner`s opinion is “characterized by an excellent surface finish that provides sufficient flexibility with high stability and allows for easy and inexpensive painting.”
The wide body kit consists of new front bumper, larger air intakes for a more efficient engine cooling, custom air splitter, extended front and rear wheel arches with standout side skirts. The rear end also comes with a new roof mounted spoiler and stainless steel exhaust system.
The entire body treatment is complemented by the new set of 22-inch Vossen wheels, all wrapped in the Continental SportContact 6 rubbers.
From a mechanical perspective, the Prior Design Porsche Macan has been also tweaked with the H&R electronic lowering module, which lowers the SUV by up to 35 mm.
Performance wise, this Porsche Macan by Prior Design comes with the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo, developing 340 horsepower. The Macan S Diesel version, packs a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with a 258 horsepower output. The topper is equipped with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and 400 horsepower.
