We talked several times about the e-Tron concept from Audi, a concept that manages to deliver very good performance and little no CO2 emissions, and we will remind just the article where we announced the official reveal of the e-Tron concept that took place at the Detroit Auto Show, held in January.
The roadster version of the e-Tron concept is powered by the same two electric engines found in the rear wheels, able to achieve a top speed of 200 km/h thanks to the electric engines able to provide 201 horsepower and 2650 Nm of torque.
There is a very big chance that the roadster version to be similar compared to the version unveiled at Detroit, the only change, the change that makes the model to be a roaster, the retractable roof. We can expect too see a model from e-Tron range on the streets starting 2012. The Audi R8 e-Tron is most probably the model in question.
