The restyled Ford Fiesta is ready to hit the UK showrooms with a starting price of £9,795 for the base 1.0-liter direct injection engine.
The range also includes a 1.2-liter power plant with 59hp and 81hp, a larger 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 103hp and a three-cylinder 1.0-liter EcoBoost offering 99hp and 123hp.

On the other hand, there are two diesel units, a 1.5-liter with 74hp and a more powerful 1.6-liter engine delivering 94 horses. The most frugal model will be called ECOnetic Technology and should deliver a fuel economy of 3,3 liters/100 km (85,6mpg UK).

Another novelty is the six-speed dual-clutch Powershift gearbox which will be offered alongside the standard manual transmission.

Ford released information on the sportier Fiesta ST as well, a model expected to debut next year with a powerful 1.6-liter 179hp EcoBoost unit.
