The Americans from Ford finally presented the new generation Mondeo, the European brother of the Ford Fusion, a model which is already available in the States.
The 2013 Ford Mondeo will be offered to the European customers together with an entry-level 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine capable to deliver 123 horsepower.
Of course, a more powerful 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine along with a 2.0-liter petrol unit with 240hp is available as well.
On the other hand, the new Mondeo comes with a 1.6-liter diesel ECOnetic able to offer best-in-class fuel consumption figures. Last but not least, the new Ford Mondeo, which will be offered in several variant such as sedan, liftback and wagon, will also benefit from a hybrid version.
It consists of a 2.0-liter petrol unit and an electric motor for a total output of 185 horses. Standard features for the new Mondeo include Ford SYNC infotainment system, Advanced Active Park Assist, voice control and much more.
