The Germans from Volkswagen recently revealed at an event held in UK a zero-emission alternative to the traditionals taxi cabs. Volkswagen Taxi concept has a lenght of 3,730 mm and a width of 1,680 mm, making this concept the smallest model in VW’s range but however large enough to offer enough space for the passangers.

The German people from Volkswagen announced few performance and technical figures on the Taxi concept. The model is able to develop 115 horsepower and a top speed of 120 km/h, impressive figures if we consider that this is an electric model, powered by an electric engine and assisted by 45 kWh lithium-ion batteries.

According to the official details, an hour is quite enough to charge the lithiu-ion batteries almost complete, and that’s a good news. But that’s not all, Volkswagen boast that the little electric concept weighting just 1500 kilograms is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds while the estimated driving range is about 300 kilometers.
