Hennessey gives the new Cadillac Escalade a power boost

Hennessey pulled the wraps off a special tuning kit for the all-new Cadillac Escalade. The American SUV gets a power boost thanks to the HPE550 kit which improves the total output of the stock 6.2-liter engine.

The V8 powerplant normally delivers 420 horses and 623 Nm of torque but thanks to Hennessey, the total output is increased to 557 horses and 734 Nm of torque.

The tuners fitted a revised ECU as well as an air-to-water intercooler system. These performance tweaks for the new Cadillac Escalade are priced at $15,950.

Kia Picanto Quantum edition debut in the UK

Kia released details on a special edition model dedicated to the British market. The Picanto Quantum starts at £11,895 and benefits from a special Titanium Silver finish, 15-inch alloy wheels and rear parking sensors.

Available only for the three-door model, the Kia Picanto Quantum edition also features automatic air conditioning, a six-speaker audio system, electric sunroof, automatic headlight control, smart key entry and a start/stop system.

As you can see, there’s a lot bang for your buck. Under the bonnet, buyers will get a 1.25-liter engine producing 84 horses and 120 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 11 seconds and a top speed of 170 km/h.

Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition Arrives in Australia

The famous Jeep American based carmaker has just brought its Wrangler Polar Edition in Australia, with the model standing 3,000 AUD cheaper than the Wrangler Overland.

The Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition is being offered on the hot continent in two bodies, like the two- and the four-door versions.

The two-door model will be priced at 45,500 AUD while the for the four-door model costs 50,000 AUD, the latter coming with some styling tweaks, like a colored grille with black accents, or gloss black front and rear bumper inserts.

R&D Factory to Launch a New TVR Model in Couple of Years

The famous TVR automaker is going through some hard times as it is struggling to survive by building a new factory that would revive the company`s sales along with the manufacturing of a new model, after the Sagaris model being a failure one.

The Autocar publication states that the new center being built in the Southern part of England is meant to launch the new model in around two or three years, with the company renouncing the previous schedule through which they would have built two new models by 2015.

The TVR and the company`s latest owner Les Edgar are trying to come up with a new model that would have a front engine, rear-wheel drive, all enhanced on a two-door cabin.

A while back, we mentioned that some bike makers are planning to build a machine that sports a 32 inch front wheel.

It seems that the Corleone (as they dubbed it) is finally here, and I have to admit, it looks better than I expected.

That being said, it still is insane, and not in a good way. Just because they managed to work a fairly pleasant design around the massive front wheel, it doesn’t mean they built an awesome bike. Ever since Metalsport announced the project, it looked like an ego trip, and now that it is complete, I have to say I was right.

Lamborghini Huracan racks up 1.500 pre-oders

The Lamborghini Gallardo’s replacement is almost here. Called the Huracan, after a famous fighting bull, the new Lambo has already made its official debut at this year’s Geneva Auto Show.

From the looks of it, the Huracan is shaping up to be a success, as Lamborghini already registered 1.500 pre-orders for the new car. We don’t know exactly which market is most eager to get the Lamborghini Huracan, and the car maker didn’t disclose how the orders were distributed over the globe, but chances are China will top the charts.

The future high-tech Bugatti Veyron Legend Black Bless is based on the Grand Sport Vitesse`s quad-turbo W16 unit, which outputs a massive 1,184 horsepower.

2014 Beijing: Kia K4 Concept

The Kia automaker has come at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show with its latest creation, which is the K4 Concept, the vehicle that will preview the production model, riding on the platform used for the Hyundai Mistra as well.

The Kia K4 will enter production in Yancheng, Juansu province, with the one-off car being 4.72 wide, as it rides on a 2.7 meter wheelbase.

The Beijing Motor Show saw a lot of concept cars these days, the newest one from VW being the Golf Edition concept. The new model is designed to celebrate 40 years of the Golf.

While there are no performance upgrades, the German model comes with a series of styling tweaks which manage to set it apart.

Toyota Yaris facelift makes its first appearance

The Japanese from Toyota released first details and photos on the new Yaris, namely the facelift model. At the exterior, the hatchback gets a new front grille, revised bumpers, LED daytime running lights, revised optical blocks and new fog lights.

There are a lot of styling cues taken from the new Aygo but even so, it is good looking. In the rear, expect to see restyled optical blocks, bumper and tailgate.
