The growing labor issues in China have hit home and Japanese car maker, Honda is the first victim of the situation. Yesterday, May 29th, Honda had shut all four of its Chinese plants as a result of massive strikes of company employees.
The title pretty much says it all as a recent report of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Toyota vehicles were involved in unintended acceleration accidents that have totalled 89 deaths since 2000. This figure is a worryingly increase compared to the previously reported figure of 52 fatalities due to the issue.
The 2004 Chevrolet Corvette is undergoing investigation from the NHTSA after there have been several complaints in relation to the fuel tanks of these vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that it has opened the investigation into 33,000 of these 2004 Chevrolet Corvettes over leaky fuel tank problems.
