Peugeot UK decided to reveal the 2008 Urban Cross for the British market. The crossover model is now available to order with a price that starts from £16,495 on-the-road. For this money you will get a special Emerald exterior finish and 17-inch alloy wheels in a black finish.
There are also black side mirror caps and other minor improvements. Power is provided by a base 1.2-liter PureTech engine with 110 horsepower while a more frugal 1.6-liter BlueHDi unit delivers 100 horsepower.
Enter the cabin and you will be greeted with special stitching that matches the exterior, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and new floor mats. A revised gear knob is also available and completes the styling pack.
“The main focus of 2008 Urban Cross is the strong exterior and interior styling, noticeably with a new and exclusive metallic ‘Emerald’ paint colour,” says the French carmaker.
That afirmation is pretty accurate as the new Peugeot 2008 Urban Cross is based on the Active trim level, so there are only few minor aesthetic improvements.
