2010-2011 Volvo recall
Yesterday the Swedes over at Volvo made an unfortunate announcement concerning a recall of some 2010 and 2011 model year vehicles that have been sold worldwide.
The recall concerns 29,299 cars worldwide of which 536 have been sold in the U.S. and around 6,700 finding home in the U.K.

GM recalling over 1.5 million cars worldwide
Numerous General Motors cars and trucks sold globally will be recalled by GM due to a problem with the wind shield wiper fluid heating system.
While the recall concerns a total of 1.53 million Buick, Hummer, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC and Saturn models, most of them have been sold in the U.S. with an estimated 1.36 million.

Hummer unleashes a recall on the H3
Recalls aren’t big news any more and this concerns me a bit, there are quite a lot going on and with such a great number of them around you may start to think, how much longer until they figure out an issue with my car?
Hopefully you will not get the chance to read a mail from your car maker inviting you for a cup of coffee while they are fixing something in your car that may have caused serious injury or death.
