Mini Coupe will be available by August 2011

It would seem that the more interesting versions of the Mini BMW has been promising since it took over the British brand are starting to trickle in.

The first of the approved models to hit production will be a Mini Coupe which is scheduled for August 2011 and it will be followed shortly after by a Roadster version.

MINI design contest

Mini launches a design competition calling for the interested public in creating new accessories, which will be mounted on the central frame of the Countryman model. Mini organizes a product design contest in honor of the last model arrived in the British manufacturer family. Mini challenge consists in drawing some possible tools to be located on the central frame of Mini Countryman.

The frame replaces the central console and is positioned in a straight line between the seats of the new model. Its role is to ensure the link between the front and the rear part of the car. On its surface can be mounted various objects during the trip.

First official images of the Mini Countryman

Here are the first official pictures of new Mini R60, entitled Countryman. The crossover is of the first British brand and benefits from four-wheel drive and a unique design. Just one day after introducing a teaser video of the Mini Countryman, the first images of new crossover from Mini mysteriously appeared on the Internet.
