If you don’t fancy a station wagon and don’t agree with a crossover either, than an allroad model is just what you need, in case you want a fast yet spacious family kind of car with off-road capabilities.
And the best choice would be the all-new Audi RS6 Allroad, the perfect car that combines the utilities of an off-roader and a wagon: plenty of space, room for passengers and sheer power.
According to recent reports released by Autobild, the German based carmaker might release such an utility car, and that because more and more Europeans love this kind of mixture. More than that, if everything goes according as planned, the model might also reach the Chinese market as well.
What is interesting enough is that this particular model would be cheap to build if you take into consideration that slight changes would be brought to the present RS6, meaning body cladding or underbody protection. Surely, additional changes would be made along the way.
We could see an Allroad version of the RS6 next year, according to the same reports, the model packing a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine borrowed from the present RS6, developing an impressive 553 horsepower and whopping 700 Nm of torque.
In case the model would finally head for the production line, rest assure that the carmaker will also add its special Performance Package, which would add more high-end features and a powerful engine to deliver 597 horsepower.
Stay tuned for more upcoming details on the Audi RS6 Allroad model. Would you by an all-road version with off-road capabilities and performance of a genuine RS?
