Roughly 15 years have passed since the four-ring brand offered a proper business super sedan in this format. Now the all-new Audi RS6 sedan appears to be on the horizon, although what we are seeing for the moment exists strictly in digital form. With no official unveiling yet, these images are realistic pics meant to give us a closer look at what the new model would look like.
Those renderings build on the regular new-generation A6, adding the familiar RS treatment. Some details appear virtually inspired by scooped prototypes, others clearly borrow from existing RS models. The result feels believable. Not official, but believable.
We already know that Audi is establishing the RS6 Avant alongside the sedan counterpart, with both expected to bear the RS 7 label before the company revisits the typical naming system. It is not clear what lies beneath the skin, as no official specifications are revealed.
However, speculations range from a V8 engine with a hybrid setup to an electrified V6. As a reminder, the current RS6 Avant features a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo with 621 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. That figure stands as the benchmark for now. The upcoming generation could push output to a little over 725 horsepower, at least according to circulating expectations.
Visually, the sedan interpretation leans heavily into aggression. Or perhaps “presence” is the better word. The front fascia is composed of a wide grille, and the headlights are higher. The general profile is slightly more muscular than the normal A6, it gives it a stronger stance without a change in proportions.
Moving towards the back, the digital renderings are showcasing this gorgeous Audi RS6 with a multi-fin rear diffuser, RS dual oval exhaust tips, and a standout ducktail spoiler. The diffuser and exhaust graphics appear to need additional CGI refinement, though that is part of the rendering process. Also, the car is displayed wearing white and yellow paint jobs, both contrasting with black accents. The car’s design is completed by oversized wheels.
It is rumored that the new RS6 could launch as a 2027 model year vehicle. Until Audi makes the announcement official, however, this remains a digital preview of what may or may not materialize exactly as rendered.
