McLaren has made the formal announcement of the new person who will be in charge of design. Kemal Curic, the designer of the previous model of the Mustang, had served at Ford for a fair share of time.
At the British producer of high-performance automobiles, there is a new person in charge of design. This team was formerly referred to as Ford Performance Vehicles but now it is referred to as Ford Racing and the designer of this team is Kemal Curic. The new head of design at McLaren is a German born with Bosnian roots. His predecessor, Thomas Suhlmann has joined Porsche.
Kemal Curic had been an employee of Ford since 2004 until he joined McLaren. Having started working as an interior designer, he went further to become part of the design of the third generation Ford Focus. His lowly beginnings brought him to this. Most individuals can only recall Curic as the man behind the last iteration of the Ford Mustang, which was manufactured in 2014 up to 2023.
In more recent times, Kemal Curic was employed in the United States as a designer for the Ford Group’s upscale Lincoln brand.
According to Curic, the McLaren brand is absolutely unrivaled because of its legendary status and forward-thinking characteristics.
Moreover, the new official head design of the McLaren mentioned his pleasure concerning the opportunity to become a part of the talented teams at McLaren to create the most spectacular cars of the future:
“I’m excited to be part of their journey to help shape the design vision of a company so deeply rooted in engineering excellence and motorsport heritage. I can’t wait to work with the talented teams at McLaren to create the next generation of breathtaking cars,” said Kemal Curic.
