Ferrari officially announced and published the preliminary photos of the interior of the next electric vehicle, which is officially named Luce.
The first Ferrari to conquer the world did so with a screaming V12 (Ferrari 125 S), a smooth body, and the speed that was unbeatable. However, this time, the iconic Italian carmaker is providing a new form of excitement: a fully electric vehicle that uses the same DNA of performance and luxury as before and redefines all interior features to fit a new era. What was the name of this revolutionary machine? Luce – the Italian counterpart to light, which is an appropriate name for a car that is expected to brighten up the future of motoring.
A New Look, New Feel

The earliest official pictures published by Ferrari prove that Luce is not a green version of an existing model. Rather, it is a new platform that incorporates modern design and race history. The cabin is like a 21st-century updated cockpit in the inside.
- Hybrid Control System – Digital displays are predominant on the dashboard, but the driver is in touch with the machine and is surrounded by a multitude of tactile controls. There are classic switches, rotary knobs, and traditional buttons, but a high-resolution digital display is present and makes sense to both purists and technology-minded drivers.
- Steering Wheel Reimagined – It is possible to note the steering wheel of Luce which is, probably, the most striking element. This contemporary interpretation of the classic wooden Nardi steering wheel of the 1950s and 1960s is made using recyclable aluminum. It is not only beautiful but it is also 400 grams lighter than the traditional steering wheels which are present in the current Ferrari portfolio, which provides the car with a rather thin yet noticeable performance advantage. The wheel itself is mounted on two physical control units dedicated, which have been ergonomically designed with Formula 1 in mind, thus each command can be taken to be a natural extension of the driver’s will.
Digital‑First, Driver‑First

Ferrari has never been behind in terms of cockpit design and Luce carries on that philosophy.
- Three Digital Panels – The cabin will be equipped with a central display that will be capable of being folded to either the driver or the passenger, a wide-angle instrument cluster, which will follow the movement of the steering wheel and another digital panel that will provide the most important information at a glance. The driver can monitor the important information without looking aside, even when the car is passing a corner.
- Modern Throwback Design– The instrument cluster is a tribute to the heritage of Ferrari. Its vintage colors and design are modernized with clear digital graphics and combine the nostalgia with the transparency of modern technology.
Why “Luce” Matters

On top of its smooth interior and high-tech features, Luce is a turning point in the history of the Ferrari brand: the first electric car of the company since the very beginning. With a cabin that is both recognizable and completely new, Ferrari is marking that the tradition of racing, meticulous engineering and bold design will still prevail even in a zero-emission society.
- Eco-Responsibility -Using recyclable aluminum in the steering wheel and other parts of the car reflects the dedication of Ferrari to the sustainability without the luxury brand being affected.
- Performance-First – A smaller steering wheel and a completely digitalized cockpit are only the start. Though its design remains a secret, it would be obvious that the Lucre will be designed in a manner that it delivers the same blast of power that Ferrari has been associated with but with all electric power behind it.
The Big Reveal

The official Luce rollout will also be recorded in the second half of 2026 by Ferrari. Meanwhile, car fans may follow official company channels that can provide a glimpse of this radical model.
Being a Ferrari enthusiast or, just a fan of automobile innovation, the Luce will be an action-packed addition to the history of the brand, one that begins with the scream of the engine and concludes with the silent propulsion of tomorrow. Prepare to witness the light.
