Honda WR-V Kicks Off in Brazil

The 2016 Sao Paolo Motor Show currently opened to the public, is the host of a lot of carmakers that will release their models on the South American, starting next year. And we have seen pretty interesting models being showcased at the event, and one of them is Honda`s new WR-V model.

Revealed in different teaser images ahead the auto show, the all-new Honda WR-V Small SUV is looking extremely pleasant and quite aggressive I might add. The model will receive exclusivity in Brazil next year, with prices to be unveiled prior to its arrival in dealerships.

From a visual standpoint, the model is based on the Fit version, coming with an evolutionary design with wide headlights, with incorporated LED daylight running lights, chromed hexagonal front grille with small air intakes in the bumper, completing the front with round fog lamps.

At the rear end, the model is highlighted by the company`s general design lines, and coming with the L-shaped taillights or rear diffuser.

There are also other attributes that make the model special, like a gorgeous SUV with a “tough and urban” design, coming with “excellent utility, and a spacious cabin within a compact body size”, “stable handling performance” while under the hood, it comes with “outstanding fuel economy.”

Speaking about fuel economy, the Honda WR-V SUV is equipped with a much more powerful engine than the one seen on the Fit model, meaning a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, developing 116 horsepower and hooked to a standard five-speed manual transmission or optional CVT. Once it will arrive in Brazil, it will become the direct competitor of the new Fort EcoSport and Renault Duster.
