Audi pulls the wraps of a new special edition based on the R8 supercar. We talk about the Audi R8 China Edition, a model which will be offered in the Chinese market but in a limited series of just 80 units.
As expected, we talk about aesthetic tweaks which include new 19-inch alloy wheels, special Malibu Blue exterior finish and a carbon fiber rear wing.
Additionally, the German model comes with silver side blades while a Suzuka Grey exterior color can be ordered too. Entering the cabin, customers will find a special numbered aluminum gear knob, an Alcantara steering wheel and leather sport seats.
Under the hood we find the same 5.2-liter V10 powerplant capable to produce 525 horsepower and 530Nm of torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is possible in 3,9 seconds while the quattro four-wheel drive system is also present.
For now, Audi released no pricing details on the new R8 China Edition.
