Audi officially confirms today that the all-new RS6 Avant, a model revealed few days ago, won’t be available in the United States.
Together with this announcement, Audi released new high resolution photos of the RS6 Avant, a model which will hit the European showrooms starting 2013.
Under the hood we find a powerful 4.0-liter V8 engine capable to offer 560 horsepower and 700Nm of torque. Thanks to an eight-speed automatic transmission and the quattro four-wheel drive system, the German wagon sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,9 seconds hitting a top speed of 250 km/h.
The German carmaker also offers a new Dynamic package able to increases the top speed to 280 km/h. Even more, the Dynamic Plus pack gives another boost to the top speed to 305 km/h. At the exterior, Audi keeps the same design language but brings revised bumpers, new optical blocks with LED lights and an improved interior.
Pricing information on the new Audi RS6 Avant for the European market will be most likely released next year.
