2017 Geneva: 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

It`s been quite a real pleasure previewing the gorgeous 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross ahead Geneva and now we have the chance of seeing it in lve photos and hot details.

The new Eclipse Cross looks, moves and handles extremely precise thanks to the new technology onbiard. It also comes with plenty of other features from the XR-PHEV Concept, which first previewed the model some time ago, including its ”Dynamic Shield” front grille and fascia, and a few more styling cues.

In terms of advanced technologies, the all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross also comes with the Mitsubishi`s Active Yaw Control borrowed from the Lancer Evolution, which kees track of the car`s yaw rate, steering angle, drive torque, wheel speed and brake force and so on. The model also comes with the electronically-controlled four-wheel drive system.

The cabin is also highlighted as well by “the horizontal dashboard, silver metal frames and black/silver monotone color scheme to create a refined interior that is both dynamic and sporty.” Amongst the top features we should mention head-up display, tablet-like infotainment system, Smartphone Link Display Auto system with Apple CarPlay support and so on.

In the engine department, the new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross comes with a new 1.5-liter direct-injected turbocharged petrol burner, hooked to an eight-speed Sport Mode manual override and a CVT. The company has also left intact the previous 2.2-liter common rail direct-injected turbocharged diesel, but is now coming with a new weight-speed automatic transmission.

We expect the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross taking off in Europe this autumn, shortly following other regions like North America, Australia and Japan.
