- Skoda Peaq is the new top electric SUV of the Czech brand. The model was presented in June 2026 and becomes the largest SUV in the Skoda range. It is almost 4.9 meters long and can carry up to seven people.

Design
The design is one of the strengths of the new Peaq. Skoda has used the Modern Solid design language for their biggest SUV, and the front has a clean and futuristic look. The traditional grille is replaced by an illuminated surface, called Tech-Deck Face. What I can say is that I really like the design of this car. I can’t wait to drive it and come back with a review here on the blog after a test drive.
If you’re wondering about headlights, they use the LED Matrix technology and have a modern look. There is also a front light strip, which makes the front appearance of the car more futuristic.
The body has balanced proportions. The length is 4.87 meters. The wheelbase is close to three meters. Also, the door handles are integrated into the body, as seen on other cars like the new Range Rover, Tesla, and many others. The solution helps to achieve a more aerodynamic appearance – I don’t like the integrated handles, but this is the trend now.
The aerodynamic coefficient is 0.249. For an SUV of such dimensions, this is an interesting value. You can opt for the Sportline version which is more aggressive. It has glossy black exterior elements, and it can also be ordered with a black roof and a two-tone body.
Interior
Let’s move inside. The interior is very, very spacious. You can order the Peaq with five or seven seats. For a large family, the seven-seat version is probably the most interesting.
In the five-seat configuration, the trunk has 935 liters. With the rear rows folded down, the space increases to 2,150 liters. There is also a 37-liter front compartment. I think it’s more than enough to carry as much cargo as possible.
Comfort is a priority.
Skoda prepared the “Relax package” that can include ergonomic seats, footrest, relaxation position and pneumatic massage function. Regarding the audio system, Skoda Peaq does not stay weak – it is powered by a premium audio system from Sonos.
The panoramic roof is another important element. It uses the Dynamic Shade Control system and has nine segments.
Regarding the Sportline’s interior, it has an all-black theme and the seats, door panels, and ceiling follow the same sporty idea.
Technology
Technology is very important for the Peaq. The SUV uses a 13.6-inch vertical central screen. For the driver’s instruments, there is a 10-inch display, which is high-quality and very responsive. The multimedia system includes connectivity functions and digital control and the interface is designed for ease of use.
On the safety side, the Peaq can be equipped with Travel Assist 3.0. The system includes advanced driver assistance functions.

The Peaq can use the V2L function to power external devices. With compatible equipment, there is also support for V2H. Thus, the car’s battery can supply energy to a home.
Performance
The Skoda Peaq is available in three versions: Peaq 60, Peaq 90, and Peaq 90x. Let’s move on to the information about each one’s performance.
The Peaq 60 develops 150 kW (204 hp). Its propulsion is RWD (rear-wheel drive), and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds. The Peaq 90 develops 210 kW (286 hp). It also uses RWD and reaches 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. These are decent performances for an SUV of such size.
The top of the range is the Peaq 90x, and it has 220 kW (299 hp) and all-wheel drive. It uses two electric motors which help the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 6.7 seconds. Also, the top speed is 180km/h.
From my point of view, for such a very large and heavy car, these performances are more than decent. Especially being a family car and not genetically a sporty SUV like BMWs, Porsche Cayenne, and so on, the Peaq does its job wonderfully.
The model also has great towing capabilities. It can tow up to 2,000 kg. This makes it more practical than many electric SUVs oriented strictly to the city. You can tow a caravan or a trailer with a small/medium-sized car without any problems.
Battery Range
Autonomy is one of the most important advantages of the new Peaq.
The Peaq 60 version uses a 63 kWh battery, and the declared maximum autonomy is 459 km WLTP.
The Peaq 90 receives a larger 91 kWh battery. The autonomy reaches approximately 647 km according to official Skoda data. In commercial communication, the brand indicates a distance of over 640 km.
The Peaq 90x uses the same 91 kWh battery as Peaq 90, and the maximum range is approximately 613 km.
DC fast charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 28 minutes for versions with the 91 kWh battery. The Peaq 60 needs approximately 27 minutes, and the maximum DC charging power reaches 199 kW.
For long trips, these values ​​​​are very competitive.
Model Trims and Pricing
The range starts with the Peaq 60, and its price starts at €47,000.
Next comes the Peaq 90, and its price starts at €54,000.
The top of the range is the Peaq 90x, and the start price is €59,000.
There is also the Sportline version, available from launch. This adds a sportier exterior design and a completely black interior. The final price may differ in other European countries. Prices vary by market.

In my opinion, one of the most interesting aspects is the combination of autonomy and practicality. The Peaq is not trying to be just a premium electric SUV. It also wants to remain a practical Skoda. And this is best seen in the interior space, the luggage capacity, and the possibility of having seven seats.
