Honda released the all-new 2018 CR-V some time ago, and now it was announced in the United Kingdom, starting this September. The range comes with good prices and specifications that makes it special compared to the last year`s model.
There are no less than four trim levels arriving in the UK – the S, SE, SR and the top of the line EX. Prices start at £25,995 for the S with two-wheel drive and go up all the way to £36,446 for the top of the line EX. Full prices, engines and CO emissions are detailed in the media gallery below.
Starting with the entry-level S variant, this can be had with a range suite of safety systems such as Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Moving to the SE and SR, which can be had at £27,855 and £31,435, respectively, these variant add more features, such as leather upholstery inside the cabin, along with smart entry and start function, front windscreen de-icer or active cornering lights. The SR, and later on the EX, will come equipped with Blind Spot Warning and Cross Traffic Monitoring.
Speaking of the top of the line EX, the variant adds more goodies, like panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel and rear seats, head-up display hands-free access and power tailgate.
As for performance under the hood, all variants come with a single engine but with different kind of power, depending on the transmission. We are looking here at a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which develops no less than 170 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque with the six-speed manual, while the CVT performs better at 188 horsepower and 243 Nm of torque.
