Unfortunately, the new Aston Martin V12 Zagato is a design study, therefore, the British model is very likely to remain just a concept and there are no details about a possible series production, even a limited one. However, Aston Martin announced that will compete the new V12 Zagato at Nürburgring on May 28 at the four-hour VLN race but also at the 24 hour endurance competition which takes place between June 25 and 26.

Moreover, Aston Martin plans to introduce the new V12 Zagato, a concept which celebrates the 50-year partnership with the Italians, at the Villa D’Este Concours which starts on May 21. Zagato’s design language can be clearly seen at the exterior of the British two-door coupe, Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin, claiming that this is one of the most iconic cars and successfully celebrated the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato introduced 50 years ago. The Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato has been revealed in the late 1960 and was specially designed for the race track.

In terms of power, the new V12 Zagato comes with a 6.0-liter V12 propeller developing 510 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque, all the power being directed to the rear wheels thanks to a six-speed gearbox. Digging more into the technical details of the model prepared for the Nürbugring races, we find that the model benefits from a hand crafted aluminum body and a bespoke steel roll cage while the engine is mid-mounted and has a compression ratio of 10.9:1.
