GM Announces Chevy Silverado & Colorado Arrival in China

The absolutely magnificent and extremely powerful Chevrolet Silverado and Colorado are ready to arrive in China, as part of the GM`s plans of strengthening its position on the Chinese market against the likes from Ram or Ford.

Once debuting in Asia starting the first quarter of 2017, both pickup trucks will come with rather the same features as their US siblings, with prices to be announced prior to their release in the Asian dealerships.

Besides the impressive body styling and plethora of features and equipment that make them perfect for all off-road conditions, the Chevrolet Colorado and Silverado will also be equipped with lots of safety features and performance under the hood.

The most important features refer to Active Noise Cancellation, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control.

In the engine department, the mid-size pickup truck Colorado will come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, developing 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque (365 Nm of torque), which is a little bit different than the US version, which outputs 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque (373 Nm of torque).

On the other hand, the Chevrolet Silverado will arrive in China with lots of power, way too much than its mid-size counterpart. We are looking here at a massive 6.2-liter V8 engine, developing 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque (624 Nm of torque).
