Carfection auto magazine has recently released an exciting 11-minute video which puts together two different sports cars – the high-tech Honda NSX and the old-schooler Audi R8 V10 Plus.
The video is more interesting as it tries to examine the differences in technology and power that both models are coming with – we are looking here at high-tech drivetrain versus a powerful conventional engine. Now, before watching the video together, let`s take a closer look at both models.
First off, the Honda NSX comes with the latest technology in terms of aerodynamics and performance. This means that it features one of the most advanced driving capabilities, best reflected by its drivetrain. We are looking here at an extremely potent hybrid, fitting a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and three electric motors, which overall develop 573 horsepower.
This adds an evolutionary design built from lightweight materials, adding the latest mechanics, which makes it fast and allows an impressive acceleration.
On the other hand, the Audi R8 V10 Plus represents brute force, coming with an aluminum chassis and a powerful engine, with 610 horsepower. This also allows an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The top speed is also set at 320 km/h.
All that being set, is just enough to gear up and watch the video put together by Carfection, not before placing your bets on the preferred model. Enjoy and don’t forget to share your opinions with us!
