BMW’s current ideas about taking over the world with their very well niched models and a very extended lineup offering that seems to cater to everybody is here to stay.
Recent proof of that has been the introduction of the i Range, the BMW X6 and stuff like start/stop on the M3.
Further going down this line of work, the Bavarians have recently confirmed that they are about to produce another new model and it’s called the BMW X4.
We all know what that means, it will be yet another addition to the company’s SUV X range and thanks to the number at hand it’ll be “different”.
Different as in, hated, fought and protested against by just about all of the BMW enthusiasts that only wish they’d never make anything apart from the BMW M3 and M5.
Since it’s called the X4 we expect it to have similar dimensions to the X3 Sports Activity Vehicle but with a coupe like body, perhaps something along the lines of the 3 Series coupe.
Underneath the new body, there’s very little chance of the X4 having a different setup from the X3, perhaps a tad sportier.
Speaking of the sporty behavior, something not unknown to BMW, we’re likely to see only the most powerful engines you can get in the X3 and a suspension setup that’s possibly a bit too hard.
