The Germans at Mercedes officially introduced the Citan Crewbus, namely the seven-seat version of the commercial van. It comes with a third row of seats which can be used when needed while won’t compromise the cargo space.
To be more specific, the new seats can be folded or even removed, therefore, you can adapt each situation without problems. Under the hood, we will find a new 1.5-liter diesel unit producing 110 horsepower and 240Nm of torque.
It will be offered on the Citan 111 CDI and will provide a 0-100 km/h sprint in 12,3 seconds and a top speed of 170 km/h.
However, this is not the only novelty as the Germans at Mercedes plan to offer a new 1.2-liter petrol engine as well. It develops roughly the same power as the diesel one and will fit the Mercedes Citan 112.
Pricing for the new Mercedes Citan Crewbus starts at €15,810 while the diesel model is priced from €17,130.
