The specialists from Lowenstein released a tuning kit for the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG.
There are both styling and performance tweaks with the latter coming in two stages. Before we get to the numbers, let’s talk about the improved appearance. The exterior stands out thanks to a new carbon fiber front spoiler, revised side skirts, new rear bumper and a vented hood.
The package also includes new side mirrors, a trunk-mounted spoiler lip and 20-inch alloy wheels. They have a matte gold finish are fitted with 245/35 ZR20 (front) and 285/30 ZR20 (rear) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG packs a 2.0-liter turbo engine that was modified to produce 410 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. However, this is only the stage 1 kit as a more potent variant with 425 horses and 540 Nm of torque is available too. Besides the plug & play software, the stage 2 also brings a new sport catalytic convertor, new downpipe and high-performance air filters.
Interior tweaks brought by Lowenstein include velour floor mats, new carbon fiber inserts, a revised center console and other minor tweaks. Expect more details on the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG by Lowenstein to be released soon.
