Volkswagen prepared a special edition of the Golf GTI, namely for the sixth-generation of the German hatchback. Why we still have to wait for the GTI/R version of the new Volkswagen Golf, the previous model gets the Driver’s Edition, a special model in the U.S. later this year.
Pricing starts at $29,695 with only 3,000 units to be produced in total.
At the exterior, there are three colors available, namely Deep Black, Carbon Steel Gray and Candy White. Other features include a new set of alloy wheels, new floor mats and partial leather seats.
The Golf VI GTI Driver’s Edition also benefits from the Sunroof and Navigation package which is quite obvious what brings in addition to the aforementioned features.
“Every GTI Driver’s Edition buyer also receives a Certificate of Authenticity along with a special package of GTI gear that includes a hat, keychain, and parking sign,” adds VW.
