2013 Acura ILX Sedan unveiled ahead Chicago

Acura release few photos and details on the 2013 ILX sedan, a model set to debut at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show which will start on Wednesday. The model is based on the Honda Civic and is offered with three engines. The entry-level unit is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder delivering 150 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque.

It comes with a SportShift five-speed automatic transmission and is able to provide an estimated fuel consumption of 24mpg (city) and 32mpg (highway).

If you want more power, there is a 2.4-liter engine with 201 horses and 170 lb-ft of torque able to return a fuel economy of 20mpg (city) and 29mpg (highway).

As we expected, there is also a hybrid version of the new Acura ILX, a model which uses an electric motor and a 1.5-liter engine. The figures are significantly improved to 35mpg (city) and 38mpg (highway).
