2017 Lexus LC 500 Coupe Kicks Off in Japan from $113,465

Toyota`s luxury arm Lexus is well-known for building high-end models with an extremely high appetite for performance characteristics, and one of the division`s finest models is no other than the all-new 2017 LC Coupe.

The 2017 Lexus LC Coupe was already introduced in the Old Continent, the model being previewed in magnificent videos, media galleries and reviews, but those living in Japan should know that the model has already reached the local market.

The model is extremely expensive and those wanting to have it at their door should through in no less than $113,465, or the equivalent of 13,000,000 yen. But the car is worth the price, as it comes with the latest gadgetries inside and plenty of power under the hood.

Visually, we are dealing here with an extremely evolved design, the model being based on the LF-LC Concept, and standing on the same GA-L platform. In Japan, it also comes with the L Package and S Package, adding as well the LC 500h plug-in hybrid, with increased performance and less fuel-consumption. Amongst the top characteristics, we should mention the LED headlights.

Speaking of gadgetries and interior features, the all-new 2017 LC 500 comes with the Lexus Safety System with plenty of features, adding as well the new 10.3-inch multi-info display, the latest Remote Touch Interface with touchpad, premium audio system and so on.

Under the hood, the LC 500 comes with a 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine, with 471 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, hooked to a ten-speed automatic transmission. In case you want the LC 500h, then the hybrid comes with a 3.5-liter V6 petrol and an electric motor, with an overall of 354 horsepower. This one here allows an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds, which is 0.5 seconds slower than the LC 500.
