2019 Toyota Yaris Sedan Previewed ahead NY Auto Show, Comes with Fresh Look and New Technology

A lot of carmakers have had time to preview their new models these days, just ahead the 2018 New York Auto Show which opens its gates on March 30. One of them is Toyota with the brand-new Yaris, a gorgeous car that has been revitalized with a fresh look and technology suite.

The car looks changed at the exterior, with the model now receiving a more standout honeycomb grille and new headlights which add cuteness to the overall design layout. After all, it wasn’t designed to look mean, it is just a cute little city car that offers all the commodities you need on a regular basis.

Once arriving in dealerships this autumn, the new 2019 Toyota Yaris will be available in three grades – L, LE and Premium XLE – all featuring a wide range of body colours – Graphite, Sapphire, Pulse, Stealth, Frons, Chromium and Icicle.

Among the highlights we should mention automatic LED headlights, leather steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers and illuminated entry, Automatic Climate Control and fog lights as standard. Optional equipment refers to heated wing mirrors with LED turn-signal indicators, power mirrors and so on.

The new Yaris also boasts technology, meaning that it now comes with a 7.0-inch touch-screen multimedia system with voice recognition, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth connectivity or remote interface. There is also the new backup camera, as well as six-speaker sound system, USB ports, cruise control, push button start and a three-month complimentary SiriusXM All Access Trial.

The 2019 Toyota Yaris also features advanced safety systems like Traction Control System, Dynamic Stability Control, Low-Speed Pre-Collision System or Brake Over-Ride System.

In the engine department, the new model is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, paired to a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The engine develops 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque. In this configuration, the new Yaris burns out just 35 mpg with the manual and 34 mpg with the automatic transmission.
